Do all runs need video evidence? And quality standard question.

The way I time my runs for IL’s(which I’m planning to do some), means I can basically time it without loads. Does this mean I don’t need a video for evidence? I would like to know the answer, and reason if it’s allowed, or disallowed. If it’s disallowed, I’d have to use a camera to record the screen, which also begs the question, what quality standards are in play? I don’t personally care very much if a run has good quality or not, as long as I can see what’s going on, just curious if a run has to be of some quality for submission.

Video evidence is vital, yes. We can't just verify runs which we don't know if they even happened. For the quality, recording with a camera pointing to the TV or monitor is just fine, just make sure the whole source is visible.

Ah, OK, I need to get a cap card soon so I can get a good video, I might submit some IL times with a camera pointed at the monitor, but I’ll see if I can get a cap card so it doesn’t look so bad.
