I finally beated the game without any deaths. I started playing back in early April and got my first pass at that point, but then there were several weeks of breaks and I had to re-learn some of the rhythm of the game when I set a goal to finally pass this one without dying.

I played with physical Nintendo 8-bit with original PAL-B cart.
