This TAS could be reused in an upcoming Warpless TAS) 4-2: Warp to 8-1 (8-1 to 8-4 will probably be swagged out quite a bit btw. Maybe a fire kill at the end of 8-4 if I don't have to press left for it at all, or else just normal Small Mario strats to save the frames)

Wow. Xein got 32.2. That's really close to the TAS. 32.10 is definitely possible humanly without any more fast accels (the last fast accel was delayed a few frames), and with start and pipe fast accel (or mushroom fast accel), sub 32?

I'm sure this run could be replicated by a human, but not very easily. The mushroom block fast accel is basically pixel-perfect and frame perfect, all the other fast accels are frame perfect (if you want a time as good as this), and the climb strat is incredibly hard to pull off optimally.

Didn't even take me too long to make lol I used the climb strat that Jonny originally used when he started Fire Luigi, which could possibly be faster than Loopie's WR strat, but is very risky. It does a 1-block space fast accel (and it barely works lol) on the mushroom block to regain speed faster, does 2 fast accels at the start of the run and after entering the final room, and fast accels off the fire block to regain speed faster. Ends with 341 on the timer (compared to 338 for current WR.)

A recent one talks about finding Blazit, and another one from December 2017 talks about cleaning the channel up. Blazit's Twitch account's last follow (xx_420_blazit_xx) is RoyLGamer, about a week ago. If Roy would give chat logs from Nightbot to me, I could possibly find out activity of this account, but I have no access to these logs. Apparently, Blazit was seen on Twitch a few days ago in GoofyChocobo's stream, but I have no screenshots to back this up.

I am an active speedrunner that knows how to TAS, and I have enough experience with video editors to detect splicing (and make spliced videos myself!) I will make "Moderator Test" videos showcasing spliced and TAS runs, with different difficulties for new moderators, or for experienced moderators that know how to detect everything!

I think sub 5:20 (in Any%), sub 23.5 (in 1-1 Fire Luigi) and sub-21:30 (in Warpless) will be more thoroughly checked than anything below it, and WRs will take some time to be accepted (at least for new runners and people with previous WRs that have been proven not to be spliced, or WRs that have been streamed and known to not have been a movie playback) due to suspicion.

I am also good at retiming runs. My 36.193 and 35.740 were self-retimed, and I have also helped with retiming some of JonnyBoy's TASes, etc. I have a frame conversion spreadsheet on Google Docs that you can use to retime runs. If anyone is interested, I will post a link.

I will put WR runs by non-trusted players through a spectrogram to detect splicing, and also analyze transitions frame-by-frame (and places that will usually be spliced). I will also try to check for things that people wouldn't normally do on WR pace (such as doing fast accel, backwards walljump, etc.), to check if the run was actually a TAS played back on recording/stream.

If evidence is found, I will contact other mods (JonnyBoy, Loopie, etc.) with the evidence I found, and see if they agree that the run is cheated based off of the evidence provided. After mods agree that the evidence is true, the run will be removed from the leaderboards.

I'm also friends with JonnyBoy (we've got into arguments on stream before tho, but he's apologized since the last major one), another moderator of the category, and current Any% WR holder.

If you guys don't think I will be a good moderator, that's fine, you can decline my application. But I will be glad to moderate, if you guys do accept me as a moderator.

Normally, with my good PC, I'd record using OBS. Usually, I record about 60FPS on 4000+Kbps, but that's never going to happen on this laptop. I've been using FCEUX's built in AVI capture feature, but that requires me to use a workaround to get Super Luigi Bros. to work that will not be accepted in the future. If there's any way for this specific feature (which has been working fine!) to be used with Nestopia, let me know :P Other than that, is there any good OBS settings (or any other good recording software) with a good balance between performance and how many frames the video drops? For computer specs: Intel Celeron N3060 4GB of RAM 32GB SSD (if the video files can also be small, that's a bonus!) Intel HD Graphics (pc doesn't wanna tell me any more lol)

You can also freeze 075F to 00 to fix the 0-1 problem, but it's unsure if it's allowed on boards or not. We'll see, if my 36.193 gets verified, it is :P

I'll go through and explain each of the runs (or at least the ones I've seen / know about). The 12:47 was the FIRST run ever completed. I haven't watched this one, but for a relatively new speed game at the time, just like any newly introduced speed game, the RNG and execution were probably not too good. I think the only reason there was no competition against the record for 1 and a half months is just because there was no one really running the game. Flutter should have probably tried to lower her time during those 1 and a half months, before more people start coming to lower the time. And, that's EXACTLY what happened. Bingogreenpig made a decent improvement to the WR less than 1 and a half months after the first run. Through the time I watched the run (I wanted to make sure I was correct about the chest click being first performed in a run by Reverse), I saw one level, and it was a maze. He went through the level in about 30 seconds, which is a pretty good amount of time. A new runner, Lul_ecks_dee, started with an 11:41 time. This was an improvement to the WR, by about 29 seconds, but I'm sure no one expected what happened next. A mere 6 days after his first ever run, Lul_ecks_dee got AMAZING luck, and finished the run with a 6 minute and 23 second time. No one EVER expected this. He proved that he was truly the best at Super Minecraft Maker. But, not everything was over yet, for Lul_ecks_dee. ReverseVideo started running in late August, and although his time wasn't too good to start out, it had a strategy that really would have helped for Lul_ecks_dee. He got an 11:52, which was minutes behind of the world record, but he utilized something that I'll call "the chest click". Before ReverseVideo's run, every runner waited for the ending screen to show up, then clicked the "Continue" button. There is an ender chest on your hotbar that has a menu option. If you had this in your hand just before getting to the beacon, hit the beacon, and then right clicked and pressed "Continue" from there, you wouldn't have to wait for this menu to appear. With fast enough clicks, this trick could save 3.5 - 4 seconds on every level, which adds up quickly over the span of 16 levels. If this trick was discovered before Lul_ecks_dee's astounding run, it would have been a 5:19 time, which would have stood as the world record, even today. Even though ReverseVideo had this trick and could have easily used it to get a new world record, Lul_ecks_dee striked back before he could. In mid September, Lul_ecks_dee used this trick to his advantage, and got the first sub 6 minute run. It wasn't by much, only a second, but this was the first sub-6 ever. Then, everything suddenly went silent. There was no activity in the community, except for the occasional run by Lul_ecks_dee in January 2018, and my 9 minute and 8:31 (unpublished, waiting for my computer to be fixed so I can get access to the file) times in January. On February 4, 2018, I had watched Lul_ecks_dee play Super Mario Bros. in a race for 3 completions. It took an hour, I asked him to come back to Super Minecraft Maker, and he agreed to do it since I had to sit through that race. Little did he know, this would be the luckiest day he had ever played Super Minecraft Maker, ever. He got a 5:58.3 time, not even an hour into the stream. But this would not be the only world record out of this stream. Not even 30 minutes later, he got another run that was on pace. But he didn't just edge out his personal best. He beat his 5:58 by 34 whole seconds, getting a 5:24 time. Not as good as the 6:23 that could have been a 5:19, but it's the closest that our small community will ever get through for a while. We can get sub 5 minutes, but it's definitely going to be hard. Me and Lul_ecks_dee are going to try and get sub-5 first, but I'm gonna be a little delayed, although with the WR holder not running too much, I could definitely get it first. You never know with a game that has mostly RNG to account for it's time optimizations.

Wouldn't you need better undergrounds for each frame though? 1-D is 4 frames from perfect (but this can only get the first frame) 1-E can do first or second frame and save the framerule 1-F can do first, second, or third 1-G (perfect) can do all 4 frames

I know someone with an 8:51 time that I want to get on the leaderboards. They have a SRC account, but they haven't submitted the run yet. Is there any way to let the admins know that it isn't my run, and to assign the run to another account? Etc. putting the run in the description
