Can I just record a video and send it or do I have to add a timer?

Just record the video, as long as your run is timed it is ok.

So i could send a run that is not timed but i would have to send the time?

You don't need to accurately time the run, we will do that for you. Just make sure you have a video of your run, and submit the run time as just an estimate.
