Many of the pending runs will be verified now that me and Arxi have been added as moderators.
The rules have changed because it was useless to add up 20 seconds every run just to press a button when its easier with the new rules.
Kintoru trials has been removed from the mimic speedrun.com website because it has lately been deleted from the mimic game.

We will be wiping out the leaderboards and make new rules. You will not be able to submit Chapter 4 and All Chap runs until Chapter 4 gets updated.

(Old Announcement) Regarding the release of Book II, don't expect there to be category immediately on the release as the Moderators have to play, run and test the chapter before making any conclusive decisions on rules etc. We can't guarantee that runs will even be allowed to be submitted for a while as there will be many bug fixes during the first few weeks of release. This update is going to be huge as there is also model revamps coming to other chapters (hopefully no leaderboard resets will be required). Hope this clears anything up.
Q: What are the rules? A: We have rules somewhat decided but for now they will stay unannounced until we allow submissions.
Q: When will normal submissions be allowed A: We will most likely allow normal mode submissions upon the release of nightmare.
Q: When will nightmare submissions be allowed A: We will most likely allow nightmare mode submissions once the hall of fame event has concluded.
Q: What if we ran before submission was allowed? A: For those who have completed runs before we allowed submission to the leaderboards you may submit those runs although, there will be careful inspection on your run to compare them to the current patch to see if it's deemed fair enough to have on the boards.
(IMPORTANT) (Announcement from Speedrunning Server) Due to inactivity from all three of the verifiers (other than vlampv), I have decided to remove verifier permissions for all three of them. When you look over their verified runs, you can obviously see why. This picture shows only 31 runs verified between all of them. In a span of 3 months, it does not make sense to have that little runs verified. The lowest mod is Coyyol, with 22 runs, although he was added in January of this year. He already has more runs than Ietsy, one of the first added verifiers. Snoopy and ZachIsle, two of the other moderators will also be removed, as they are not active in the speedrunning community at all.
I know this may come as a shock, but it's the best thing to be done. I may release another round of applications if time comes to say.

Due to a new patch that recently released in the mimic, we unfortunately have to reject every single chapter 4 run whether it be normal or nightmare. The recent patch minorly changed part 2 AI Route and majorly changed part 3 AI Route. Sorry for this inconvenience and hopefully with the release of book 2 there will be no more leaderboard resets in the book 1 chapters.

A major announcement is upon us, foxtrotting, a highly contested subject, has been brought back. Due to macros having little effect on how well a runner can foxtrot, it doesn’t make much sense to ban it. I really feel like this should be brought up since nothing has been said about the topic other than my recent response to a thread from 2 weeks ago. The Mimic has had an average of over 40+ runs needing verifying over the past few months due to Winter/Summer Holidays and Final Exams. I'd like to apologise on behalf of all the Moderators and Verifiers, we assure you it will not happen again. Also in saying this please respect that all of us have our own lives and may not always be active in verifying runs. Look, we all know that The Mimic isn't really the best at managing a community on discord, and that's why we decided to make an information only discord server. This is obviously our 4th main server, and I won't explain the details why it has become 4, but we've gone through hell and back. If you'd like to join it, you will get info on major updates to the leaderboards, new wrs, and other info. Also, we haven't created it yet. Idk when it'll be up tho. Hopefully we'll be able to get most if not all, of the runs reviewed and completed.
