Run Start

Upon loading in, walk forward and pick up the 3 pieces of laundry from the basket (on PSVR, you might need to adjust the floor level beforehand and your "centered" position to reach the basket; place them on the dryer, then in the washer). Put them in the washer and start it. This can be done at your own pace as long as the washer starts before Rick says "dry erase board". Flip the Troy switch next to the washer/dryer so it's ready for later. Throw the broken light bulb in the lamp next to the door over to the desk. After Rick shoots you, quickly pick up the phone and hit the button before it fades in. The button is finicky on later deaths, usually waiting a second is enough to be able to press it.

Tech Support

When you respawn, hit the button on the Meeseeks box, then pick up and drop the watch. The watch will teleport to your other wrist without needing to put it on yourself. Charge the battery, answering Rick both times he calls. Once the battery is charged, pull the lever and grab the battery just before you return to normal size. Throw the Youseeks ball to the device in the driveway, throw away the head on the shelf, and put the battery where the head was. After grabbing the device, get the metal apple and carrot hammer, then close the fridge door. Open the computer door when possible, then the hatch to the basement. Drop the metal apple and carrot hammer into the hatch at the same time, then remove all 3 faulty parts from the computer tower. Get and replace the fuse, then the other parts. Grab Rick's part immediately and place it next to the Meeseeks box.

During this downtime, make the satellite receiver and giant bulb. Go back to the product page on the computer and open the cabinet. Put both items on the Meeseeks shelf.

Call Skips

While any watch call is taking place, killing yourself and respawning can sometimes make the call audio skip ahead. Up to half a second can be saved each time, although it seems to be random how much time is saved, if any. The mace is the easiest to grab quickly as you need it for the satellite receiver anyway, but a hammer is just as effective. Starting with this downtime, if you're not doing anything and you have at least 3 seconds remaining in the call (if there's another call afterward) or until you have to open the portal wall, kill yourself to potentially save time. Note: This may not work on PC.

{AUTO MECHANIC}

Get the mega seed and laxative. Place the laxative on a shelf and hold the seed in your left hand. Hand yourself the nitro fuel (on PSVR, point the blue arrow at the shelves; that way you can easily complete these 2 tasks without blocking the controllers) and put both in the engine. Order the repair kit and charge the next battery. With the repair kit's lock facing you, the parts you're looking for are 2 red bands on the bottom left and red+green+blue bands on the top right.

During this downtime, clear the top shelf of everything except the Troy cartridge and make the large apple & large laxative. Place both of them on the upper shelf and hit the Meeseeks button. Place the Troy cart on the dryer, then set the regular apple and laxative next to the mousepad.

Alien 3

Once Rick says "we need help", change the portal wall to the new location and go to the alien planet. Grab the egg and get it as close to the car's hand as you can while the hand is moving. When Rick says "we gotta go", you can stop shooting. After he leaves and starts talking again, shoot yourself with your guns. Fire them horizontally and lean into them. It may take a few tries, the game doesn't want you to do this.

Back in the garage, put the egg in the WASHER, not the dryer. When the creature sticks to your head, go to the desk. Pick up a crystal (or any object within reach), get the creature's attention, and throw it straight down (don't drop it, throw it) 3 times. Feed the creature the apple, then the laxative. Set the portal location to the bathroom, this saves about 6 seconds compared to the creature doing it in my experience. Speedrun Troy, pull the lever, then attach the parts to the suitcase. The time it takes for the roulette to stop is random. During the lengthy conversation, look at your watch when Rick mentions "vegan" to skip the rest. Killing yourself early after shooting the alien can save time, but there's a good chance it'll be shooting lasers at the shelf area, negating any time save from the glitchy call. Go to the satellite immediately after killing the creature. When you're huge, pull the dangly part. This dialogue is faster than when throwing it away or at the Earth.

Ending

If you have space to your left, you can grab Rick's mega seed before he fully extends his arm. While the 2 Ricks are fighting, throw something at them when you hear the third "asshole". Shoot either Rick once the left Rick says "whoa" six times. Hold onto the gun when Rick and Morty return. When the laundry starts dropping in, clean 10 clothing items and throw 4 of them in the dryer, then look at your watch to skip the rest of the discussion (putting your head through the dryer portal is a faster suicide method than whacking yourself with the mace). You can do whatever during the rest of the run, but make sure you're looking at the portal when it closes. From when PBH starts talking to when the portal closes is 3:11.
