I'm looking to do a run for fever, either all perfects or all medals, but I was wondering. I own the Japanese version of the game and I run the game on my NTSC-USA console via the GeckoOS disc launcher on homebrew. But for whatever reason when I perform a soft reset to bypass the tutorial, it resets the whole console and starts up on the home screen. I'm asking this because I've seen a run on the JP version of fever, where they start the timer on a save with the tutorial completed and was curious if this Is a allowed method to start a run without the whole system rebooting when I attempt to soft reset. -Thanks again! |

Hm, that's an interesting question. If starting on a save with the tutorial completed is a valid way to start the run, most people should start doing that as it saves a lot of time. |

That's exactly what I was worried about, I can't find the exact video but I remember someone doing this for their run, but It didn't feel legit since they did not start on a fresh save, and it saved them a lot of seconds. But if anyone who has done runs with a JP disc on a modded system that knows how I can fix this, please let me know. |

So I was able to find another recorded run similar to what I was talking about, with the timer being started right at the Hole in One icon. I'm still curious if this is legit/allowed, or if it's not allowed... -Link- |
