Item quantityEdit Item slots (in the inventory and the item box) are listed in the inventory on 4 bytes (in hexadecimal of course). For example :

00 08 00 05 describes "Item n°00 08, Quantity = 5". So in this example, it's a Grenade Launcher with 5 acid rounds.

Key items have a specific quantity, corresponding to how many doors it will open, for example. Shield Key would have a quantity of 1, because there's only one door to open. The game then checks if the quantity is equal to 0, and if true, asks the player if he wants to discard it, knowing that there's no use in keeping it.

The flamethrower is special too, since it uses a percentage to describe its quantity. 100% corresponds to 240 for the quantity value. If you actually put more, the percentage go up, to a value of 65535, which is shown as "_06%".

Infinite weapons need at least one bullet loaded for them to work properly.

Further notesEdit The item n°256 is pretty weird : it is supposed to be 0 (since the value wraps up to 0, an octet being defined from 0 to 255), so "Empty spot", but it has a weird texture. 257 (which would correspond to 1) leads to the Survival Knife (Jill), as it is supposed to.

Values between 138 to 255 may contain interesting stuff, but it has not been tried, since the game always crash, and restarting Dolphin + the memory viewer is kind of a pain, ~120 times in a row.
