I was curious what the timing difference was from the Wr in console edition (Xbox One S) To my run (Nintendo Switch), so I timed the loads from the start to entering Jellyfish Fields. Just from the loads alone, they saved nearly half a minute over me from the start. This gives players on other consoles an overwhelming disadvantage. I'd like to ask, would there be a chance of having IGT timing for consoles or perhaps sub-categories for different consoles? |

IGT on consoles is quite difficult to calculate unless you frame-count every load, which is tedious. For subcats, you'd probably need to hit a threshold of difference in gameplay to merit it (e.g. some tricks just outright not working, or physics being different enough to effect the speedrun quite handily |

I would say that a near 6 minute difference in loads alone is a pretty significant difference in gameplay. Besides, there are some Switch exclusive strats if played on 1.00 aren't there? |

It is quite a bummer that there isn't a good way to have the autosplitter recognize console load times because of all the variables that comes with console loads sadly. |
