I'd like to see an all boss kills category here! It would basically be the 100% route, but with making Yawn 1 run away and killing BT. I can't speak much to a Chris All Boss Kills run, but below is a video of a possible route for Jill All Boss Kills (it has a few mistakes) and some explanation. This is a planning run of what an All Boss Kills run could be. There were many mistakes in here, and maybe not everything is the best routing, but I think this is generally the idea. The splits also are a bit fucked, but that's not important, I'll fix that later. The run basically follows the 100% route with a few exceptions (other than the fact that we fight Yawn 1 and BT now): -Just grab chemical in the east storage room. We are not doing Acid Skip. We need those acid rounds for Yawn 1. (We're doing the OG 100% opening here/console strats.) -Grab the flame rounds before Plant 42 since we have no ammo. -Use up remaining 3 flame rounds before fighting Yawn 2, probably on the first hunter so that the usual strats can be used and the acid rounds can be loaded in the save room. -Do not grab ANY ammo in the room with the battery. Instead, pick up the flame rounds behind the first boulder. It's possible that grabbing both packs of explosive rounds here will be faster, but BT herself requires 4 explosive rounds + the 2 for the door, whereas she takes 1 flame round... more discussed below. -The rest is basically the same as Jill 100%, just remember that you only have 3 shots in your bazooka, so if you miss one on Lab Tyrant, you'll have to reload! Discussion on ammo: I think picking up the flame rounds behind the boulder will be the fastest strat since BT takes one shot and 2 for the door leaves 3 for lab tyrant; perfect. If you want to grab explosive rounds instead of the flame rounds at the boulder, you'll have to grab both: you need a total of 6 for the black tiger fight: 4 for BT + 2 for the door. Aside from the fact that the fight itself will be slower with the explosive rounds, BT is also really fast and moves a lot, so I'm not too sure how consistent getting 4 shots into her before she moves will be, even with quick shots. You'll also probably get spit on a lot of times. The other problem is you'll have to reload your bazooka before the tyrant fight and again before final tyrant. Moreover, there's the issue that you'll have a mix of explosive and flame rounds at the end, so you can't just reload your bazooka without wasting ammo first (definitely a time waste), or reloading in the middle of the final tyrant fight. I think all those downsides (plus the time it takes to pick up both packs of explosive rounds) will add up to more time than it takes to run to the flame rounds behind the boulder. |

I mean, P42 still dies, but I see what you mean. I'd support it on the basis of differentiating it from the 100% run a bit more. Since we get the Barry acid rounds scene, is there a way to get Barry to not show up in the fight other than using the V-jolt? Like, can you trigger the eavesdropping, then go grab the key? I'm not actually sure... |

Actually, Barry comes in and kills P42 anyway now that I think about it.... even with Vjolt. Which is what makes it so stupidly pointless lol |

As for the fire round pickups in guardhouse, I would have to time this to be sure but I'm almost 100% positive it would be faster to pick up the explosive rounds from the save room instead. The flame rounds would require taking a bite which will be more trouble for lesser skilled runners, plus time loss, plus the animation of kneeling down to pick it up. The explosive rounds in the save room is an instant pick up with no animation. |

If the explosive rounds are faster, then that's even better! If we're considering the lesser skilled runner as well, this puts you right next to that FAS as well if anyone wants it. I know (at least on DS), if you do chemical skip and so never see the "I have this" scene, if you don't eavesdrop on Barry before grabbing the key, he won't come in to kill P42. I would argue for allowing Chem skip in this category so that you get the full P42 cutscene, but then it turns into "well why not the other glitches?" and also means we'd have to grab the lighter and get the acid rounds by yawn... that seems a bit |

Whelp, I forgot to kill Neptune (really regretting that last post now Here is an outline of the route: -After getting bazooka, return to the first floor and go get the chemical. In the chemical room, bank the knife (though it may be faster to bank the knife when you grab the serum for Richard?). Everything else is the same up to the Yawn 1 fight (except that you already have the bazooka). -There may be some optimizations to make to this fight, but here is a highlight of a "good" Yawn 1 fight: https://clips.twitch.tv/SourColorfulThymeBIRB It's possible to get some crits and get away with less shots, but maybe some of those bazooka rounds missed as well, it's hard to tell. In the larger highlight above, I grabbed the crest after beating yawn, in the clip I did it before. IDK if one is necessarily better than the other, but I like grabbing it before better. You should be able to get out of this fight with 3 handgun bullets pretty easily, but you must have at least 1 to shoot Neptune with (as I forgot to do in the highlight above). -The guardhouse starts by grabbing the c. room key and red book (this is probably gonna end up looking like the knife only strats most of the time). Then you grab the Room 002 key and get the Barry eavesdropping scene. This cutscene is essential to being able to fight both phases of Plant 42. -Grab the flame rounds before Plant 42 for the fight. The explosive rounds at the beginning of the guard house will not be sufficient to kill P42. Phase 1 always takes 3 flame rounds, and phase 2 can take 1, 2, or 3 shots. I've never had it go beyond that in the several tests I've done, but I can't say with 100% certainty yet that it will never survive all 3. -Mansion 2 is identical to Jill 100% except that you do not grab any explosive rounds in the battery room. Just grab the battery and leave. When you bank the armor key, also bank the handgun. -In the underground, you need to grab the flame rounds behind the boulder. Black Tiger takes 1 flame round to kill, then 2 more for the webs. The last 3 will be for lab tyrant. -At this point, the route is identical to Jill 100%. Have fun, everyone! Don't blow a run by forgetting to shoot Neptune like I did! |

For what it's worth, I don't think you have to save Chris/Jill to fight Roof Tyrant. I think only Barry/Rebecca have to be saved. So you could skip MO discs and all that. |
