Mostly related to NMG runs, I don't see a big difference in methods when compared to Any%.
Is there any real change run-wise?

New Patch - better performance (reduced game size)/intro skip button, but no RHS
Old Patch - worse performance/no intro skip, but all gltiches/skips are there
If you want to run NMG you can choose the one you like, but for Any% - only Old Patch
