I mean, if you like RNG, play Pokemon. Lots of run-killing RNG there.
@TheGreatToddman Kirby's Dream Land has RNG? Never knew that. Does the 2nd one have RNG as well?
The Sims Bustin' Out on Gamecube is nice. There's actually tons of goals you have to accomplish instead of just free for all Sim Life.
@cinnamonhunter Like I said, there's actually a walkthrough where you must complete goals and advance to next house, unlike most Sims games. Plenty of houses you move to. You especially need to meet requirements for job promotions by raising skills and friends. There should be a walkthrough for the game page on this website. If not, then someone can build one.
Megaman battle chip challenge 99 percent of the game is you sitting there just hope for good rng
To answer a previous question, YES, Kirby's Dream Land has a decent amount of RNG, especially in the boss fights. It can actually kill a run if you get a bad Kracko, or Wispy, etc.
Poppy can choose to add 15 seconds to your run by delaying a jump before throwing its last bomb. It's frustrating.
But also awesome. :)
Sorry, I just saw this. Yes, Kirby's Dream Land can almost exclusively be RNG once you get the route down. Kracko (boss from stage 4) is fought twice during the run and can take around 20 seconds to upwards of a minute depending on RNG. Dedede is a similar situation. The game definitely rewards grinding and consistency.
I run 3 animal crossing games actually. Im plaining to run more. Thanks for the subjections btw. I don't really want to run pokemon but I might look into kirbys dream land.
I have a slew of NES games, as well as GB, GBC, GBA games on my profile, that are usually shorter runs and such. You might be able to find something that strikes your interest in there.
@NihilistComedyHour Thanks. I decided to check it out and there was some games that looked interesting.
