Accidentally came across a glitch during a casual playthrough. If you have your leader go down in front of the Scarab and don't revive him the Scarab will keep attacking his body, allowing you to just keep your army stationary off to the side. This might also let you skip destroying some of the power nodes.

Even if its slow, its an interesting quirk that should be explored and not dismissed. Learning should be fostered in publicly available forums instead of private dms, otherwise future runners will be just as surprised at the lack of guides. Cooperation in strat finding can lead to more discoveries.
there is a strat faster than the current world record one however it is only really il viable full game it is very hard to pull off using cobras
