I am using the load removal in LiveSplit (in Splits settings) but I dosen't work, I tried reinstalling, putting compare against game time, running LiveSplit as admin, I just don't know what to do anymore, anyone have any clues ?
(I'm playing on the GOG version in windowed mode)
It works normally for me. It may be because you're using the GOG version of the game, but I'm not 100% sure.
Yeah I was already looking into that, basically ASL uses memory addresses to find In-Game time, but the GOG version uses a different memory arrangement, I'm currently looking to update the adresses for the GOG version of the game, I'll keep you updated.
not work for me to, run rejected because of this but no guide, no help, so mods have to do something maybe ??
I'm just waiting for an answer from drtchops (ASL Creator) to see how did he found those addresses so I can reproduce it in the GOG version, I'll make sure to put the edited and working file in the Ressources section.
i bought steam and it works for me as well. it's a bit of pain to develop an autosplitter script IMO, since cheatengine is used to track down the address i believe, and that takes a while. try refunding your GOG game and just get steam, would save you trouble. good luck with your runs!
can't ask refund.. i have an other old pc box and doesn't work to, maybe i do something bad with livesplit ?
If you want to use the route that includes loading saves in Infirmary or whenever you die, then you need the Load Remover. And since it only works on the Steam version, then that's the version you have to use. I you can't get Livesplit to work, then you can use an old route that never reloads. Then you can use the time displayed at the end of the game as your Game Time.
ok so now i have steam version, the timer start alone at the beginning of the game but never do the pause when the game load an other zone or a reload..
What did you do Architekt to make it work cuz i might be retarded aswell i have steam version and never got to make it work
Unfortunately I didn't found any way to fix the asl script, BUT the game is currently on sale at 0.99€ on Steam until the 9th of July, go buy it while you can !
Update : The game uses the number of frames that passed to calculate time, it stops at each loading, at the end screen, and starts when the cutscenes end, so this might work to use for ASL, I'm to tired to do a pointer scan rn, I'll be doing it tomorrow !
