Can I become mod?

I would like to be a moderator on Spore because I am a big fan of the game and I have lots of ideas for runs like a "pacifist" run where you beat the game as fast as possible without killing another creature.

To be a mod for Spore I would expect someone to have an established presence with this Spore community, have runs verified on the leader board so I can guarantee they know the subtleties between NG and NG+, and so I would be confident they would verify runs accurately. Good rule of thumb for all communities whether speed running, twitch, discord is not to ask for mod especially when new to the community. ;) Adding new categories is possible, and you do not need to be a mod to suggest new ideas. Here, we want keeping categories competitive (I stated my position on this more in other forums and how to add categories). I know it is common for other SRC sites to have loads of categories but that reduces competition of devalues WRs. I would not even see how a full game pacifist run is possible in Spore. It would only work Cell through Tribal, completely herbivore cell, social creature, friendly tribal, but that runs into a problem because Civ stage would be religious. Economic I would think of is actually pacifist because Religious you are technically "attacking" and it would be impossible to become Economic to start Civ because that would require attacking tribes (to become industrious) or capturing "small" Economic cities as Religious at the start of Civ.

But you don't actually kill creatures when you attack them religiously, you just make them unhappy until they decide to change to your religion.

Edit 1: Plus you can beat civ stage by diplomatic takeover by allying with everyone and taking over their enemy's cities. Your allies will decide to join each other as one nation.

Edit 2: Also I never said that you couldn't attack anything. I only said that you just can't kill them.
