I look sometimes here in the Forums and want to say a few things:

We are not inactive. I look every 2 days in the Speedrun requests and add/reject runs. We get really much runs (the past 2 days there was 32 new requests). I edit all of them because most people dont put the milliseconds in their runs or set 1 hour instead of 1 minute. Atm we are at 1200 runs.

Some runs have delay to get accepted. Sometimes if players want a top3 time and dont have any evidence we DONT ADD them. For a Top3 time you need a clear fullscreen screenshot or a moderator of speedrun.com in your game. We had players who tried to hack their times and dont want it happen again. ALSO sometimes we arent sure if we should trust a run (legit or not). Then we discuss about the runs before adding or removing. As example if a player have really bad times on every map and is Rabbit rank, but try to get a world record on a old map like Sonic. We dont think this is legit. (and yes this happend).

We have atm no problems with the runs and I dont think we need more moderators. I will discuss with the other mods if we need more or accept people who want to be moderators.

Hey. I'd like to know if submitting a video or screenshot are comparable for any of the moderator's chances of accepting a run. Reason is in my experience, it's a bit of a hassle to upload a video to submit on speedruns.com and I would usually pass up my best time. So I would like to know if it's better to just send screenshots or is it more reasonable to send video footage instead?
Just to be straight up, screenshots or video footage?
Its allways better to submit a video. Videos, allways get accepted if you submit them because its the only 100% proof we can get. But you as example are a runner we know a bit better and trust so its no problem to send screenshots. Most other player who we dont really know and they want a top3 run we need some time to discuss if we can add them.
