Submitting without a video

I'm currently learning to speedrun Legend of Legaia but I'm unable to record a console (emulator is much too slow). How should I go about submitting a run without proof of time?

Depending on the speedrunning community, you can submit a run without any proof. Another option would be to take a photography of you after beating the game with LiveSplit or something like that. You should ask the community of "Legend of Legaia" speedruns.

Yeah right now you have to do what the board allows. We'd like functionality to handle PB's off the board eventually, but it's not a high priority task right now.

Legend of Legaia is currently set to "runs require a video", but if you talk to the moderators they could possibly be flexible.

Honestly, I don't care about requiring a video. -shrug-

I think that not requiring a video is fine, but I don't feel comfortable accepting top times that don't have video evidence. For the time being, I removed the "require a video" requirement, but I'm also going to require video evidence for claims of top times and reject runs faster than 10 hours (for any%) that don't have a video.

Of course, if you take a picture of the in-game time on the stat screen of the end of the game, that would be useful. Not 100% ideal because of save scumming, but it does help validate.

This good to know since I am looking to get a copy of the game to run eventually. <3
