how do I make the timer on livesplit starts each time at the same place (sry I use google translate)
I don't know what's the policy is regarding language, I'll post both in english and french.
You either do it manualy, press the key as the same time you start the run, or if someone made an autosplitter for that game you can use it. I don't know if I can help with the ROM, maybe the game's community can, check its forum or discord if they have one.
Tu dois le faire manuellement, appuye sur la touche quand tu lance ta run, ou si quelqu'un a fait un autosplitter pour le jeu tu peux utiliser ca. Je sais pas si je peux aider pour la ROM, peut etre que la communaute du jeu peut, regarde leur forum ou discord s'ils en ont un.
merci beaucoup mais quand je suis sur le jeu et que j'appui sur la touche ça ne marche pas il faut que je clique sur la fenetre , activer puis revenir sur le jeu et ducoup je perd du temps
Ah alors click droit > control > Global Hotkeys pour que LiveSplit prennent les inputs hors focus. Tu peux aussi definir une touche pour activer/desactiver ca a loisir.
Right click > control > Global Hotkeys to get LiveSplit to take imputs out of focus. You can also set a key to toggle it whenever.
Another way you can get precise timing for a run if it's on first movement as as example is to set a -x start time.
Tu peux commencer avec un temps negatif sur livesplit. Ca se fait sur certaines runs ou la video doit montrer le lancement du jeu mais le temps commence quand tu prends le control.

- Commences par ouvrir LiveSplit
- Clic droit -> "Edit Splits..."
- Dans "Start Timer at:" tu mets une valeur négative (par exemple -5.00 pour -5 secondes)
Voilà, ensuite quand tu lances LiveSplit ça va commencer à -5 secondes. Comme l'a dit Nariom ça se fait sur certains jeux, car le timer ne commence que quand tu prends le contrôle du perso (genre Zelda Twillight Princess) Après ça peut aussi être pratique si t'as 2 ou 3 menus avant chaque run (et pour les Races sur SRL c'est pratique aussi, ça te laisse le temps de régler quelques trucs dans les options etc avant que la run démarre)
