Can music games be removed from the site like Guitar Hero and Rockband? The only time difference that can happen is menus and even then it's very little. Songs have the same time and honestly how can you run them anyways. You're just playing songs not like you can make them go by faster.

+1, same with geometry dash these are kind of redundant. However, I don't think it's right to go ahead and retroactively remove these boards as they do have a community built up around them - the best you can do is to stop accepting these boards in the future.

I am not in favor of removing Guitar Hero or Rock Band from Speedrun.com.

I don't see what they add to the site, but on a personal level I'm content to ignore them. Also I believe "speedrunning" one of those games means Full-Combo'ing every song (start the song over if you fail).

I've done runs of guitar hero 3 and the donkey konga series and to be honest there is no real difference in gameplay, but that being said, I don't think a game should be removed just because it does not have much time differences in a run or the ability to be improved greatly.

While I agree that music game speedruns are essentially "menuing" runs with long pauses called "songs", I do not see why the existence of those games' leaderboards would bother you at all.

Why not let them have their fun? Because you don't approve of it? Yeah, nah.
