So I mod generally a lot of smaller-scale games to the point that any one discord for one game would be kind of inactive, so I was thinking of making one massive discord combining all the smaller games that I mod.
Is this a good idea? I don't think I've ever even heard of someone having this idea before.
I thought of making one before for some unpopular V.Smile and DS games, but I decided it was kinda self-centered to make a discord for only the games you moderate. you can if you want to tho
Well on the other hand it would help people into some smaller games possibly find other ones, idk, there's a reason I was asking lol
honestly if the games are "belonging" together. its fine. but making a discord by the category: small games i moderate. makes the discord dead. saw one of those already btw makes the whole game unappealing because its basically against one of the core rules of the site that a moderator doesnt "own" their leaderboards.

Actually, making a combined discord for all of your games is exactly what @Tasselfoot did. He has a discord with channels for several games he moderates. It's a good idea; not only will it be a good place for runners of your small games to talk, it also may introduce those runners to your other games, so you'll see more activity in those as well.
@Merl_ When is a speedrun discord a discord for the games and when is it a discord around a streamer/person? when you personally stop speedrunning etc. there is in the end a jumbled mess of communities needlessly connected which all will basically start from zero (on discord). If people want to make "bigger" discords from smaller games they should first look at series then genre, frenchise or developer not at the persons playing it.
