Ok, so for Red, I have been doing RNG manip fine for a week for Mt. Moon. Since yesterday, I could not get it once. I am manipping other Pokemon each time i reset (For the most part). I don't know what is causing this. I have been doing it fine for over a week. Sometimes my manip for Nidoran does not work either, until I reset and try again. I am doing everything right, and how I always do it. I am playing on a regular GBP. Basically I just want to know what could be causing this. I do the same exact route, on the exact tile. I was wondering what little things could contribute to a failure... Thanks in advanced
Yo I'm not the best runner for Red, but this happened to me. After clearing your data, did you reset your game? That is what fixed it for me!
All manips have a small chance to fail due to the time in the in game timer when you save. If you've heard any other gen 1 runners talk about IGT0, that's what this is. Unfortunately, the only way to fix it is to save again and hope you don't get the small chance of failure.
