over a year ago, i submitted my first ever speedrun but it very quickly got overshadowed by the people who just skip the entire game via glitches, i return and see that there is still no glitchless category and was curious to why?
Not enough interest and difficulty in defining what's a 'glitch' and what's not a 'glitch'.
well the reason i stopped was because there was no glitchless, i want to get back into it tho, is there a way that i could make a category? like maybe as a sperate game type thing on this website or would it just say something like "that game already exists"?
There is no intended way on the site to create something like that. The any% category doesn't ban you from submitting a "glitchless" run so you can still run it the way you want. Since, as Sai said, there's very little interest in the game at all, I'm sorry but you will either have to run the category without submitting your runs or submit them to any%. Hope you understand.
