Just bought this game, going to play through it and get the feel of it before I get into speedrunning it. Is speedrunning this better with K+M or controller? I know in ME1 you could mouse scroll and pull off the kick glitch, is there similar stuff in this or is a controller fine, or do you need precise or quick turns, etc.

While K+M definitively is easier you can still run with a controller. Some of the dashes world records belong to a guy who plays on console. There's nothing like the mouse scroll glitches of ME1 so the advantage is more due to being able to turn quickly.

In terms of speedrunning the game though, there are at least two skips at the moment that don't work without a keyboard and mouse (Sanctuary first button and Savant skip). Each of these only save about 20 seconds over their slower variants, so if you're ok with that, then go with what's more comfortable.
