I have loads of pending runs, some of which I posted weeks ago and they ae yet to be verified, only some got rejected because of position of my stopwatch, but why does it take so long? Also when I visit some users' accounts their runs get verified the same day as they post their runs

because theres a lot of runs besides yours in queue

understandable, this game is the most popular game to speedrun on this site

They can't be on 24/7 and are prolly slowly working on it. As for the same-day verifications, those are likely the really good runs or ones by mods who can just verify it themselves.

real. we apologise for taking ages, but we’ve also got events and other stuff to do. we aren’t intentionally avoiding runs. additionally, “it is against official speedrun.com rules to ask a moderator to verify your run if it hasn't been in queue for at least 3 weeks.“ which we dont want to happen and try to prevent it 👍

big queue + game has high demand + staff have irl stuff to do. not to mention most of the runs are pushing an hour now thanks to A-1000

There arent much mods and lots of categories for this game so runs take a while to get verified or denied
