There are plenty of free web games, those are available to you. You'll have to be more specific in what you're looking for if you want good recs.

Given that you can no longer play flash games on a web browser, you'll most likely have to download these anyways.

That being said, I guess you could have a go at running Helltaker. It's short, "downloadable" and most importantly for you, free.

Html5 games are playable on the web just fine, it doesn't have to be Flash games specifically. There are also free downloadable games from Steam, Itch.io and similar.

That being said, @AdvaitWahiGamesYT , do you have any preferable genre at all? Platformers, RPG, etc? The requirement of free games narrows it down by so much.

What's wrong with web games? Don't be knocking my favorite console.

You're absolutely right, it's just that when I read "web games" I instinctively relate them with Flash games.

If you search for web games that also list PC as a platform, there's going to be a downloadable version, and it'll have a fair chance of being free.

Also @AdvaitWahiGamesYT itch.io often times has some really solid free games available. I'd check out what you can find there (https://itch.io/). A lot of people have been running the 'karlson' games off of there.

I was about to suggest karlson but looks like someone already did that ; P. Ive recently been spending my time with this neat little game https://www.speedrun.com/somnium https://lmirman.itch.io/somnium Its free to download and pretty easy to get into. Oh yea and its on pc (windows) ...... and linux. ( maybe? tbh i havent seen anyone play on that version yet so idk if it works) Its not long and will take you around 15minutes to casually play. Maybe more or less ... i cant really tell lol.
