Does anyone know if streaming a game by pointing your webcam at the tv is against Twitch rules? I would love to have a video of it happening and YouTube only allows 15 minutes. Plus I don't want to spend a lot of money on a capture card for GameCube until I know I absolutely love this. Help? Thoughts?

I think as long as you can stream footage live then it doesn't matter how you do it?

Sounds kind of crummy though. There's a reason nobody does it.

I'm not sure what the requirements for it are anymore, but if you look around in the Youtube settings you should be able to allow yourself to upload videos longer than 15 minutes.

All you need to do is to register a phone number with Youtube and you can make videos as long as you like.

So it's probably fine, but people don't tend to usually enjoy watching streams with webcam footage of a game. Just never quite ends up looking good unfortunately
