Maybe a miscellaneous category could be made? something like Freya% where any% rules apply but the run ends at the start of the cut scene where you encounter Freya for the first time.
I'd be interested, but I think with how straightforward the run is the time's would be too close, or frankly just not very exciting. I don't know, those are my two cents.
The problem with a shorter category is that the beginning has the majority of the cutscenes (the 10 minute intro, the killing of the deer, the cutscene's before Baldur, meeting Brok etc). Meaning a shorter category would have a pretty bad cutscene to gameplay ratio (people already say this run is a cs simulator). I think maybe a run from Alfheim to the 2nd encounter with Baldur would make for the most interesting "misc" category but obviously that has problems since something like that would be more of a NG+ category.
Recently with the arrival of PC, we have managed to have an AutoSplitter and LoadRemover made by the community, but console runners would still have problems. So it is mandatory from now on to always have a timer present on the screen since any run that does not have a timer will be rejected withou
