I was wondering if someone could tell me if I have the correct jump frame in this picture: https://imgur.com/rdHIYOm
I'm new to speedrunning (my first day actually lol) and so far I didn't have any problems hitting any of the other tricks but this one (still haven't tried Relic Skip since I still haven't gotten to that part of the game but I have an uneasy feeling that this one will also give me some headache lol).
I keep watching and re-watching Zealot and Dr4gon videos about this clip but can't seem to actually hit it... For me it seems to be the "good" jump, the one in which you have 2 frames windows to actually hit the clip but I can't seem to be able to hit the clip even though I think I have the right frame.

You will likely receive much better and quicker help if you talk to the folks in the discord and maybe let them know you are streaming when u are. Plenty of folks will gladly give you some tips and help if your learning things about the game and the skips etc.
That is the good jump frame, your second picture shows you already landed on the stairs though, so that is way too late for untransform. Just those 2 frames don't really tell the whole story, if you post a video with input display I can give you a more specific pointer and tell you exactly what is going wrong.

I think that I got the "bad frame" in the first video (full attempt) and the "good frame" in the second but I'm still not completely sure...
Bruh, it's called a jump frame, because you have to jump on that frame :D The frames are fine you just weren't doing the right things. Also you really shouldn't be doing this trick at all at the start, it doesn't save that much time and only does so if you do it really quickly. There are many much more important things to focus on at the start.

I manage to get the clip now.. Dunno what I was thinking.. I thought that the name "jump frame" was because of the little hop your character makes after mist+wolf lmao
Oh, and yes, ty and Mash again for pointing out that this trick is difficult and don't save a lot of time but for me it seems easier than going back through the level and risk dying... And also, I love clipping haha
