The mod team for Stardew Valley is interested in doing a sizable migration of our leaderboards to try and streamline/change the general hierarchy and structure.

My concern is that if we just make the structural changes via the site, we'll orphan a bunch of runs that belong to now defunct categories (since their position in the hierarchy was shifted). We can resubmit/approve those no problem, but instead of scraping every submission/obsoleted run we've got on the board through external means I was wondering if it's possible to get a db dump that contains info on runner/category/video link/run time/comments/etc

Otherwise any advice from those of you who've gone through a leaderboard migration?

You could use the API to get all the run data you're looking for, though that's somewhat involved. If there's a lot of runs that need to be moved, your best bet is probably to get in touch with an Admin (emailing support@speedrun.com would be appropriate), since there's probably something they can do to help you out here.
