To prove how easy it is to cheat, i made a sub 50 7 chars run cheating and not showing seeds. I don't wanna upload it to the leaderboard, but if someone says that it's no big deal to no show seeds well i will just to show it is...
What u guys think? Item tracker shows the seed, so unless you're cheating there's no reason to not show it..
I've always advocated for showing the seed via item tracker. There have been arguments against me that using the item tracker is using a 3rd party program, so in light of that, you'll have to show the seed at some point during the run. I still advocate for using the tracker itself.
The "advantage" you gain was that you could see the items before you start the run, though the new item HUD allows for the same thing. Then it was stated that it shows stats. However this is a configurable field which can be removed to ONLY show the seed, therefore negating this argument.
In the end, my vote is for forcing the seed to be shown in some way, with the preferable method being the item tracker with no stat tracking, however I see no issues with the stat tracking and think it's fine.

The rule should definitely be added. Also we might want to note that the preferred method is the tracker and give a link to it that's easily visible/accessible. Can you put the link to it in the rules too?
Wouldn't make much sense not to use the item tracker honestly since the other way just costs you time.
I think we should add a rule for the seed with the item tracker or just show the seed on screen without showing items and I dont think the link should be in the rules maybe just a refrence that you can find it in the resources or something since people can use which ever programm they want (add a link to the resources).
