Live Streaming Arcade Cabinet (!!!)

Hi Everyone,

Noisebridge hackerspace in SF is building a retro arcade cabinet (NGALAC) with built-in 1-button streaming. We'll be showing it off in all majesty during Maker Faire in May 2018. https://www.noisebridge.net/wiki/NGALAC

It works as a arcade cabinet should, with a big green button that, when hit, starts the stream. (currently this is all working so yay)

While we are enthusiasts, we cannot put on a live spectacle to draw a crowd like a real run can. NGALAC combines the old-school arcade setting with streaming, so it will really shine as a spectator sport, so we are hoping to find people who can help provide the audiences with that experience.

We would love to have people do runs on the cabinet during Maker Faire (or whenever if you are in SF and want to drop by the space.). We are flexible so if you see an opportunity to help but need changes made, please just let me know.

Regardless, everyone is invited to stop by the booth at MF or come to the space (2169 Mission st) and play.

Note: we're not making money off this thing at all, we just think it's cool and want to take it to Maker Faire and give people a show.

If you have any advice to better attract ppl to do any kind of run in person, I would appreciate it, we're far better at making things than advertising.

Thanks!
