Hiding EMU runs by default

I'm updating the board to hide emulator times by default. Dolphin can't accurately emulate the outlines, PCSX2 just crashes sometimes and you need to use certain backends and hacks to even get the outlines working, PPSSPP has issues with load times compared to real console if anyone were to actually run the PSP release.

You can still run and submit EMU runs, they'll just be hidden on the board unless someone is actively looking for them. The old runs still exist (for example the PSP record which was on emulator) and you can still see it by just filtering to include emulators.

Given I'm the only somewhat active runner playing on an emulator and think this is a fair call, I'm going to nip the problem in the bud now in case it actually becomes a problem later down the line.

I'm not sure that I understand what you mean? The Wii/PS2 and PS3/360 versions are entirely different games which only loosely resemble each other (both mechanically and with what content is included).

People can run on an emulator, but only real hardware runs will show up by default on the boards and the consoles with major version differences are already split. I see no reason in making emulators an even further split since they're hidden by default right now, if anyone wants to see those runs they can just filter to include them.

Wii/PS2 is just the shorter (and I'd say more technical) run. All versions of the game are equally valid as runs. There would be no reason to swap to the Wii/PS2 version if you want to play the next gen version of the game. They're two vastly different runs and games mechanically.

Leaderboard Update (3/26/22)

As the result of a recent development for PS3/X360, we have now decided to split Any% into two different categories. We now have Any% No Position Storage and we have Any%. Let's talk about that.

3/23/22 brought us the discovery of Position Storage thanks to a video by a runner named ToxicPinHead.
