Whether or not this post is a joke, I feel like I should say something about this. This website never has and never will recognize speedruns from the online mode. The "account to A+, level 10, S, etc." are NOT something I want the actual speedrun of this game associated with. FLC and other streamers who do these online account speedruns are aware that they are not official runs, rather a stream stunt to show online skill and make things interesting.

People already associate this speedgame with blind runs of Super Mario Maker, because they don't know the difference between playing online rain maker and playing the single player. This game is by no means a meme game, and I want to keep it that way. Sorry, but 8 hours of RNG team mates playing 2 game modes is not a very fun or competitive speedrun, at least that's how I, and many other runners of this game feel.

i am kind of mixed about this because yes it basically is a meme and it probably would not get that popular anyway. It is just 8 hours of RNG to see if you beat your time. I think it might be good to have it though because online mode is the main mode in the game and most of my viewers on my streams have said that it kind of makes sence to have a speedrun for the main mode in the game and one of them has done a run of getting to king during the most recent splatfest so i don't know what side i am on

while as a meme i like it, as a run to try and beat it isn't worth it. Becuase the whole thing relies on luck. Yes there are alot of runs with a lot of RNG (may I point out Golden Sun or Final Fantasy 7) but not the entire thing is rng.

your right it is not all luck but most of it is luck and the thing is bassically one big marithon unlike lots of RNG runs like super mario maker 10 mario challenge which on easy is about 5 mins long with decent RNG but this is a marathon run and something that people would not run often as you can have one split ruin the run. Say you are at S and you are -30:00 but then you lose 1:00:00 and now you are +30:00 near the very end of the run all because of RNG so honestly i don't see it being a catigory
