Hi, I know that there's been barely any activity for this game so asking here is probably futile, but I've lately picked this game up and I'm working on speedrunning it, but the main issue I've been facing is that it feels like I'm unable to the strategy for the one green room with the spiders and the only platforms avaliable being one block wide areas attacked to the walls but my issue is that I can't get the same height as the others can and I always fall short, has something been patched out a while back that I never heard about, is there some special tech used? I have no idea how I'd be able to recreate those jumps
There's a trick to getting those high jumps. It's been a while since I ran the game, but if I recall correct, then you need to land the previous jump without gliding — i.e. canceling the jump at the exact height to clear the edge of the block you land on — then your next jump will have additional height. I think some of the latter runs use a new technique that I'm not too familiar with, but I also think that only works with the mod (which appears only to be available on the Discord). I'm sure some of the people in the Discord will be happy to share techniques and stuff.
