Hateno Village Ancient Candles, I have a set time for others to beat. 11:36 Rules: No movement speed boosts, No smuggling, No arrows. 1 torch only.
Personally I love this idea but it lacks a proper ruleset imo. We need a specific frame to start and end upon, and perhaps a start location as well (maybe start from warping to Hateno Tech Lab). Make it so all torches must be put out first and perhaps end on the first frame the last torch visibly has fire in it. Also, it’s not super suited to the main leaderboard so we’d probably put it on extensions (that’s where all the weird and interesting ones are). Lastly, if we want it to be an extension category (which I definitely do), we can’t ban speed food (and maybe not arrows either, idk); it’s an important part of IL runs. However, if the details can get ironed out it could be a really cool run!
This would be a great Category Extension IL, similar to Hyrule bike challenge?
I think the idea is great. There are just some details to work out, like when timing starts/ends, and what location you would start at. With the fine details out of the way, I think this is a great idea and it would be neat if it became a category!
I like the category idea, but I feel like if we restrict it so much, it'll just be frame-perfect running. It would be much more interesting to allow pretty much everything you've banned in the rules.
