So is there any chance to get an update on the situation for my game(s) Thief: The Dark Project and Thief: Gold?
It's pretty lame having odd restrictions because I'm only a "normal" moderator. I would think at this point I had shown what I believe is solid evidence that 3 of the 5 super mods either don't care anymore about the game or never have. I've managed to work (somewhat) with Jake regarding recent changes but he takes days to respond to even the simplest of discord messages (even when hes online most of the day). He's also rubbing a couple people the wrong way.
It's just still unsettling these people can just suddenly undo most of the changes I've put in place on the community's behalf, and I could get pretty much all of them to vouch for my bump-up in rank. It's also getting a bit taxing having to verify everything on my own, as it's either me or waiting 6-7 days for Jake to get to them. But I can't add verifiers cause lol reg mod. At this point its beginning to feel a little slightful that I'm being kept down like this when I've seen a couple people come in here and get complete moderation rearrangements with little to no evidence tbh.
I don't even care about removing these three random supermods no one here has currently ever talked to or heard about, but I will say it's just lame seeing them with any ounce of power when I know damn well they probably aren't even aware of it or care for it.
@Psych0sis Okay, so first off, I've removed AlderiusX6 from the aforementioned games and the series moderation. The account has been offline for 2 years, and there really is no reason someone should be moderator of any page on this site with an activity track record like that. I'm kind of curious how they have even remained on those pages as long as they have.
For the others, this will have to be discussed. Me and Bokoblins will probably pull you guys into a discord channel at some point and talk this out. I work most of today though so I'm afraid at least today I personally can't get involved in that.
This is just one of the many flaws of series moderation though, I feel. I agree with you for the most part though. If a moderator hasn't done at least one run in the games they are moderating, it seems kind of questionable that they are moderators of those particular games in the first place. If they are active/helpful then it can sorta be somewhat affected by that, but judging by what you've said throughout the thread, that doesn't seem entirely to be the case, either.
@Bogi2323 He did respond, guessing he just wasn't aware he could verify a previously rejected run. Either way, added you as he has no contact options.
I have submitted a WR run on Choujikuu Yousai/Macross over 3 months ago with no response, I am interested in being a mod for the game also.

Looking for the removal of "blackwayv" as moderator to clean up the list a bit. He hasn't logged in to the site for a year now and last I attempted to contact him both by Twitch message and whisper while he was actively streaming Fallout casually, I received no response or acknowledgement at all. I waited far longer than I should have to post this, probably, but with us expanding modship with some more verifiers just now it's definitely time.
Hello again! I have another request, this ones for Donkey Konga (GCN), and 2 of my runs have been pending for about a month.
@Jaypin88 I tweeted both supermods for Donkey Konga and notified them, they seem fairly active on twitter though one of them has been offline for 5 months on SRC which is kind of a red flag. So, I suggested they consider adding additional moderators if they are having issues keeping up with the queue.

I wanted to request being a mod for the mobile game Soul Knight, as the current mods seem inactive and I was unable to get in contact with either, I came here as a last resort so I hope someone can at least tell me what I should do.

9 days does not count as inactive. Have you tried reaching them via their social media?
@Oh_DeeR yes but he doesnt respond on his ytub channel and his "discord link" has expired, his facebook link is wrong or doesnt exist... ?
@Dracaarys You're right about the expired accounts. I opened a thread on the game's forum, asking the mod to update their information as well as to reorganize the board, since there doesn't seem to be any speedrun-relevant content on there. If there's no positive response within the next couple of weeks, I honestly don't see a reason to even keep the game on the site.
@Wipeoutjack7 Typically, I'll give users several days to respond. It has only been 1 and a half days.
@GamingAries As you have runs pending and both mods have been offline for 3+ weeks, okay. Worth noting one of them doesn't even have contact links also, and the other only has discord but I cannot message them as I do not share a server with them. So contact with both is pretty much not an option past the forum.

The mod hasn't been online for about a year now, and i've had 1 run submitted which is over a year now as well.
