In handgun only if we are using deaths to lower DA can we save so when we die and continue we start from there instead of autosave?

What i know, loads from autosave after death still counting igt. Loading a save file will not. But if its against the rules i dont know. Wait until 19th when the rules are up

When you save you override the autosave and when you die and continue you will continue from save instead of autosave location. Itll still add time like continuing and not saving. Just change location of continue.

When you save you cant use it to load just used to alter location when you continue on death.

I was thinking while i was working. Its possible this idea is false since you may have to load in from save to make that save the continue point. I will check when i get home.

If you save directly before a boss for example then die to that boss, during the death screen if you choose to manually load the save and not the auto save it will not reset your IGT. It will however reset any DA loss. If you load a save from the pause menu or the main menu, this will put your IGT back to what it was at the time of the save invalidating the run completely.

Also yes, hitting continue loads the most recent save whether that is an auto save or a manual one. IGT isn’t reset this way either.

It was the saving i was wondering about. Continuing allowed and save loading not allowed i knew already.

For example saving before 1st nemmy will allow you to cut a ladder climb when dieing and continuing if manual save overrides autosave on continue.

Yeh, I was just trying to be as clear as possible as to how loading the save works. But yes you could do that for flame Nemmy if needed.

Also in Nest 2 after you grab the over ride key is potentially another good spot as the autosaves are at the start of nest 2 and then a bit before hunters
