Could you please create an official app for speedrun.com for mobile that works exactly like the website?

The site itself is running quite good on mobile.

There is no official app (and probably there never will be), but you can check this one, developed by @klbyte: https://www.speedrun.com/the_site/thread/3iked

  1. Making an app is not at all worth the development time and resources required to create and maintain it. Maybe it will be someday, but for the foreseeable future it makes way more sense for us to focus on improving the site for everybody.

  2. Why would we spend all that time and effort to create an official app if it's just going to work "exactly like the website" does? What would be the point of that?

In your mobile browser (assuming chrome) you can go to the three dots menu in the top right and tap on "Add to Home screen". That doesn't add it to your apps list but that would only require a small change to the site. Adding a manifest and service worker + 2 icon sizes is enough to make it installable and it will even appear in the apps list and opens like any other app (not in a browser).
