Hello guys, as I saw the LowRank% being suggested in the forum before(I still like the idea) I want to suggest another category. I did a first attempt on running this (very bad tho): It is basically from new file till after the first zorah fight in low rank (5*), where you also first see Nergigante. As many of you already said, any% will be a very long category to run, as of that there wont be too many runners willing to try it. LowRank% is a way better category in my opinion, since HighRank will get a lot harder without the right farm for equip and since it will especially be such a long category. So I also suggest this category, for those who will even find LowRank% to long (like me, and it will be a long category especially since you cant skip cutscenes), many people like shorter categories and this is the first real story point in the game that could count as a ending for a run imo. Anyways, I had a lot of fun with this route and I think this will give a great run (at least I will try it a few more times^^) and also a bigger opportunity for many runners, that want to run the game but not in such a long manner. I was thinking of doing Zorah Magdaros% up to the second fight, but now you mention it, even that will probably still be fairly long. I might try this as well.
As for a discord, I haven't seen one around yet, but I'd be interested in joining it too.
Yes it is. Maybe they will patch it in the future or something, we can only hope. That would make this game such a better speedgame for sure. Maybe they will do it someday, after all the confusion and feedback they got with the cutscene triggers for multiplayer, they might actually do it.
Technically I thought Any% was up till the last designated story quest, but I think Low% should be up till the last real encounter story wise with Zorah. Granted that yes its still long I'd say in around 3 hrs or so pending on allot of other variables and player skill. I'll be attempting to do an actual run up till the last encounter of Zorah within the next while as a concept run and maybe till the last Story designated quest, but for now till I learn more and experiment I'll just be taking notes on some stuff.
Still allot to learn and figure out atm, before I could consider doing runs that are not IL atm.
