Driver Chipping Tips?

I don’t know if that’s what it’s called, but I’m referring to using a driver to chip the ball out of the bunker. I can never seem to do it right, whether I hit the pin and it bounces away or I miss completely. Please help me!

I’m having the same problem. If you are too far away from the hole, the ball with go over the flagpole. Only do it if you are in close proximity. Wait for someone else to respond that knows more than me, cuz that’s all I can tell you.

Ok thank you. Glad to know it’s not just me.

I'm not the best at driver chips, but I will give what I know. When you are trying to do a driver chip out of a bunker (i assume you mean hole 2), try to aim towards the flag. If you missed the flag entirely, try moving a bit to the left. If you hit the pole, aim a bit more to the right. For normal driver chips out of rough for fariway (or sometimes on the edge of the green) only try to do a driver chip if you are 14-20 yards away. It takes time to get consistently, I would practise on hole 2 and try to do the bunker chip consistently. thats all i can tell you.
