NEW RUN

Just wondering how long it usually takes for a track to be viewed and updated?

This depends entirely on the game and then run you're doing. Some games have incredibly active moderators who get things done lickety split. Some games have good moderators that just can't spend every waking minute of the day on the website and might take a week or so to get it reviewed. Also, the length of your run can hinder things too. Some game runs are hours long, and not everyone can sit and watch an hour long (or more) video in one sitting and might have to split the video up into multiple parts to review over a few days.

Also as a note, it's SGDQ week, and a number of mods may be more inactive than normal due to being at the event.

Ahh ok guys. Cool Its a mortal kombat 2 arcade speed run. goes for about 10min.

I just was not sure if you needed to advise anyone once submitted.

Cheers :)

If you can track them down on social media, a gentle and polite "hey I submitted a run, please give it a look when you have a chance" probably doesn't hurt. But patience is indeed a virtue.

As alkaine already said, it's totally up to the types of the game (or challenge), how long the run would be and the moderators on the website. Some might take longer to be reviewed by the moderators for the said reasons, but I think they'd eventually do it as they're responsible for keeping track of the records submitted on the community :).

or if you have any queries / request on how you want your in-game records to be verified, perhaps it's better to ask the moderators in person. :)
