Hey, everyone. I notice that there doesn't appear to be a category for getting all the Time Stones in the game, but I did a run earlier where I did just that.
(video moved down below and potentially replaced once a better time is reached) Got somewhere around 1:15:55, not going to bother checking the exact time since I goofed up my splits a few times, and I'm just going to get better anyways.
I aim to do a run with tails later this week, I'll probably edit this post or something when I complete it. Anyways, take care. Just felt like sharing my run.

Hey man it's always great to see someone taking interest in running and developing lesser ran categories! I know a couple of people have done All Time Stones before, but there hasn't been much enthusiasm to take the category seriously, a lot of times it's just due to people not liking the special stages much in general. But hey, maybe you keeping at it will inspire more people to join you in running the category, and if there's enough interest, we might end up adding ATS to the boards someday!
I do know that the route for the normal stages is pretty similar to any%, aside from a few stages you would want to go out of your way to get extra rings of course. I would recommend joining the discord and asking for any tips for runs/routing in general. Even though there isn't a lot of people active, there's still a sizable amount of people running it every now and then. Also check out Chronoon's any% tutorial, because while ATS isn't exactly similar to Any% there's a lot of stuff done in any% that would also be done in ATS. Also might wanna ping Chronoon in the discord too, bc he has looked into ATS before and has a general idea of what stages would be better to get time stones in, even if it has probably been a good long while since he's looked into the category.
I'll have to check out the discord later. I was thinking about studying the level maps to get a better idea where I can snag emergency shields and groups of ring boxes. Something I've noticed is that some of the different time periods in some of the stages is more "rich" in rings than others, making it potentially more optimal to shift time periods in certain stages. Collision Chaos seems to be one of the worse stages to get 50 rings in, so I might forgo it in favor of Stardust Speedway.
And truth be told, that sonic run, and subsequently tails run, are my second and third times playing through the game. Besides Mania (which I haven't played yet), this is probably the 2D sonic game I'm least familiar with, so this is fun learning various tricks and paths.
New PB for Sonic. In some silly twist, I wound up collecting stones in Collision Chaos despite me not trying to so hard. I was doing well until company showed up and broke my concentration. Bit of a shame, but I know I can do better in the future.
