Community-Made Speedgame - Just an Idea

This is just an idea I had, I have no clue if it would be possible but I think it would be interesting to have a "community-made speedgame" if there are talented enough people out there in the community to make such a game and maybe if people want to help out by learning coding and such, or just by giving ideas. I know it would be hard to do this, even for just a simple game, but I think this is an idea at least worth sharing. And by a community-made speedgame, I basically mean that the speedrunning community would collaborate to help create an original game that was made for speedrunning (I am aware that there are some games like this, but I was just thinking of how this game could possibly be different by incorporating more input from many speedrunners), hopefully on a somewhat easily accessible platform. Even just thinking up ideas would be fun, at least in my opinion.

the problem I have with games tailored towards speedrunners (which there have been quite a few now) is that speedruns are often interesting due to tricks people find that weren't originally intended by the developers, be it smaller oversights or even glitches. Might just be me tho /shrug

I completely agree. It, in a way, takes the fun out of the progression of the game, so to speak. If a trick or glitch is found, it might already have been intended by the developers. Then where's the entertainment in that? I mean, it gives more "chances" for optimization, but that's about it.
