Do people think it is even possible to beat the current WR using the console version? (Return to Arkham or Standard edition.)
Fullys time is absolutely superb, but I can't see how a console could get it.
If there is a consensus that it isn't possible, would a seperate console board be possible? (Just like City, Origins etc.)
From what I understand, almost every trick that's used in runs should work on all versions of the game. The only major exception to that might be fast elevator (it should still be possible on consoles, but it would be significantly more difficult to execute for Any% than it is on PC).
Glitchless categories should definitely still be doable. For non-glitchless categories, there aren't really any high-level console runners here these days (the best Any% time on consoles was over 3 years ago), so I don't think we have enough data to definitively say either way. If more research was put into this and there were console runners concerned about it then I'd have no problem with splitting the boards.
Main reason we're not separating platforms is that the site already has filter options to see runs for any specific platform. But if you look at those you will see barely any activity, except in glitchless category. City was more active at the time, we tried splitting it and i'm not happy at all with how it looks, with boards being half-empty. That being said, nothing stops you from labeling your runs as %platform name% world record or whatever.
Yes to what Feanorus says. I'd like to keep the boards clean with having it the way it is.
Moving forward we will be implementing a blacklist for users who violate the rules, people on this list will not be allowed to submit runs to our leaderboards. Anyone on the list will be contacted and be made aware of that, otherwise the list will remain anonymous. We won't retroactively delete runs
