You know this section (look at picture 1)?
Well I found a way to use the sign (the location of picture two) to skip to the next checkpoint (where I am in picture three)
It's very challenging, and it would only save about 3-5 seconds, but I thought I'd post it anyways incase anyone wants to look into it.
It's not necessarily a new trick. I think that it was done in a TAS.
I haven't seen the TAS, but I've never seen it, so I decided to share it because I thought if we could make it more consistent it could save time.
Yeah that's a TAS-only trick unfortunately. I've spent some time messing with it and getting wedged behind that sign and getting shot upwards is basically impossible. Sky's old TAS used it, but his new one doesn't actually, so I think it is actually slower because if you do that, you have to run backwards a little to cause the next portion of the level to load.
