the "at this time" literally means nothing. like i said before theyve accepted multiple chess and solitaire games and seterra(whatever it was) which is a "geography game". ive also got "educational games" through
@yummy_bacon the game requests rules in the knowledge base don't have that section for some reason, so when I double checked the rules I assumed that visual novels were fine
@GetLow my point is that you have nothing to complain about, since visual novels are being added to the site and there are plenty of them that you can speedrun. I bring up your run because I assumed that it was the initial reason you made the thread.
I really don't understand what exactly you want speedrun.com to change. Despite visual novels being not allowed according to speedrun.com's old rules which aren't even linked in the knowledgebase anymore, src has added and continues to add visual novels, as well as other games which are explicitly not allowed according to the game requests rules. Almost every single game gets accepted to the site nowadays
"Just request the game."
Of course, I always will.
"the "at this time" literally means nothing."
'At this time' is different from 'We will never'
"my point is that you have nothing to complain about"
Yes I do. Even though they are accepting some visual novels, they are not accepting all of them. I want them to accept all of them. Also, please stop telling me to speedrun the other visual novels that are accepted on the site. Which visual novels are currently accepted on site and which ones are not is not the basis for my decision to run one.
@yummy_bacon the game requests rules in the knowledge base don't have that section for some reason
This is probably because the game request rules page is meant an as addition to the ones in Support Hub. Also, the hell happened to my tag
not allowed according to speedrun.com's old rules
They are not old rules, they are the current rules. Visual novels are, in theory, not allowed.
Again, a useless dispute that was expanded to 3 pages of text. I like this.
