How can I speedrun on a weak pc? My PC: graphics - AMD Radeon 6670 CPU - AMD Athlon(tm) 64 x2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ 2.7 GHz RAM - 4 Gb I am speedrunning Hollow Knight and my pc can not stably output 30 fps with OBS studio and livesplit

Well, in all honesty, you can’t. If your PC can’t handle playing the game, there’s not really much you can do. If you can play the game but your PC struggles when recording it, then you can speedrun, but you just can’t submit those runs if you can’t get video proof (unless the LB says otherwise).

Although this hobby is viewed as very accessible because all it “requires” is a game and some time, it still does have a price curve that comes with it. This is mainly in the form that in order to stream/record (especially PC games) you need a decent PC that can support doing both.

However, you might be able to try and tweak your OBS settings to drop the quality of the recording by lowering the bitrate, or using your GPU to encode the video instead of CPU. I would recommend poking around in those settings and see if you can get it to stabilize at lower quality. Maybe you can’t handle recoding in 1080p, but you can handle 720p better.

If not mentioned already:

Use your task manager if you are using Windows to turn off things like windows update and other things that might slow things down. Basically use the the more details for task manager to you want processes are also going on on your system. and when you scroll down and find windows update click the arrow by it to see the actual and you can right click to stop it. As just trying to stop it without doing this first won't work and having that off helps system resources. (A decent amount actually)

Also in OBS don't forget to disable your preview option for it by working on the canvas and I'm checking the enable preview option. As if the preview option is enable the system will use resources to render what is happening even if you're not watching it and not having it on free"s up those resources. (best tips I can offer someone that uses a weaker PC and thisit's from someone else who doesn't use the best PC)

You could also point a phone camera at the screen so you don’t have to run recording software on your PC.

So what settings can be used to be accepted as proof my passage? Now my settings in OBS is from 1280x720 to 960x540 and 30 fps. I can do from 1280x720 to 640x360 at aspect ratio 16:9. Will it be normal? I guess if there are different aspect ratios when scaling, then it is difficult for the system to work. Also my computer can work normally at high settings that can be enabled but cant normally record at low-quality((((.
