As many changes are made on leaderboard for the moment, i come here cause if have an idea.

What do you think about delete Doors Skip category. It's not a troll, i mean it's a simple suggestion and u can think i m wrong :)

Doors Skip seems not as much active than when it was implemented and i always thought that it was a game modification not from capcom.

Personally, I know of a few runners that would instantly stop running this game if it weren't permitted. Curious what others think, though.

Hello Sephjul. Yes. It's a 3rd party program/mod or whatever term people use. It was voted to be brought back in a while ago. I'm fairly certain most mods and most of the community would see no reason to delete them.

If the mod does not affect the in game time in differents ways for each user, i dont see a reason to delete it. I intend to run both Remake and Zero in future, and I would prefer to play mostly with doorskip.

I think doorskip not only brings optimization under faster settings, but also provides an interesting dynamic of pace the vanilla category lacks. And coming from a personal standpoint, I'd love to start using door skip much more often once I reach my goals in other categories.

It's existed for long enough now, is there really any point in removing it?

I can only speak for myself but once I was done with the games that I am currently focusing on, I was thinking of coming back to Remaster for some runs to try and bring my skill level back up and compete. I was fully intent on doing doorskip, but if that choice wasn't there, being totally honest, I wouldn't even give it a second thought.
