Can someone remove this run?

I don't get why that would be grandfathered in. They submitted and verified the run on the same day that they announced in this rule change:

https://www.speedrun.com/re5lin/thread/fe3z2

That's clearly something that has been patched out and (as far as I know) was never possible on PC (or Xbox One/PS4). So how is that even the same category at that point? Why would anyone run that now knowing that those exploits are no longer possible and it's pointless to try? If for some reason you guys want to keep the run then make it a separate category. None of the other difficulties/categories use those exploits. It completely changes the run. It's multiple things that completely change the run.

I noticed that the person who submitted the run also verified it, the same day, and is also the person who announced the rule change and grandfathering in which was conveniently the same day that they submitted and verified someone else's run. That person is also no longer a mod for Lost in Nightmares, for some reason, but is for the main game and Desperate Escape.

If this was a mistake or just something that was missed, then can someone just remove it?

Considering everything though (submitted the run and verified the run, chose that specific date to grandfather in the run, is no longer a mod in that one specific sub-game, etc.) I doubt it was a mistake. What are the chances that they picked that exact date? Of that run that they submitted? And they verified? Of someone else (one of which no longer has an account)? Of the only RE5 game they're no longer a mod of?

The rules for that category are:

Timing is via IGT (an RTA timer is optional but encouraged) Recorded run of at least one of the two co-op runners (encouraged to record and submit both, but not mandatory) Nontactical resets are allowed No cheating or modding the game

*Resetting for the hand grenade and SMG at the very start of the level is allowed (Meaning you can check if you have the SMG drop and can reset until you get a hand grenade)

They're still following the rules and are simply using an exploit which as far as I am aware is allowed since it doesn't affect the timer. As for it being possible to do I have no idea myself, it should be tested for sure to see if it does/doesn't.

Edit: If it isn't possible anymore then it should go into its own category. It's still a very impressive run

In response to this the reason why this run was grandfathered in is due to the fact that LIN and DE were apart of the main game boards before the mods decided to make the switch to separate each board individually.

The run in question was done 5+ years ago and all runs that were on the board before me made the swap were automatically grandfathered in. Aster used to be a moderator for Lost in Nightmares and helped with the changing and addition of the new page for Lost in Nightmares individually.

Following the grandfathering all runs before Nov 26 2019 this was the date that we had decided to transfer all the runs over to this new page for Lost in Nightmares.

EDIT: I will be updating the forum post about the rules later today
