So I come back after 2 months of life getting in the way, and most if not all the records have been smashed and replaced! Honestly, I'm in absolute awe at the skill level; clearly, I have some work to do. XD I also wanna say thank you to those who helped me out a bit with recording procedures.
But before I start my practice up again, I have some questions about completing the 100% run. -What constitutes as 100%? Just beating regular and metsu only, or also getting all unlockables as well?
- Are there any new strats I should know about? It has been a while. ^^||
Don't you also need to get 100k in Normal mode (before Metsu) to get 100% completion? I feel like just having a simple checklist of things you need would make it easier to figure out what truly makes a 100% run.
So as far as I know you need to score less than 20k 6 times in Normal mode to get the bad ending, score more than 20k at least once to get the good ending, and then in Metsu mode you would need to reach level 100 after unlocking the 6 memoirs (which I'm not sure what the requirements are, but it seems to be a rather low point value) to get the final "milestone" which makes Irisu look towards you over her shoulder in the menu.
But since there's the extra collectable for reaching 100k in Normal mode I feel like it should be a part of the run as well.

The extra collectible meaning Utarou? Because if so, I don't think it should be part of 100%? One, being you'd have to take one run to get 100k points in order to get the image, a little time consuming to do. Furthermore, the 100k unlockable isn't really part of the story, but more-so a secret.
I mean, sure everything else you've listed in order to complete 100% is good. I think that I'll stream myself playing the game sometime next month, when I'm less busy. Maybe I can get some more help then.
Hey, sorry I've been completely inactive here.
As for answering, you would need to first get the bad ending ( which I believe is compulsory before being able to get the 40k ending in the first place ), then once you finish the 40k ending thus unlocking metsu mode, unlock the 6 memoirs ( I don't really think there's a specified point cap for them, essentially hold space and you should have them after each failure but I might be wrong ) and then go ahead and aim for the 100k ending thus giving you the smiling irisu and jingle sound hinting at the game's story completion.
